Scandal! Lindiwe Actress Nomvelo Makhanya Reveals Her Next Career Move

Award-winning actress Nomvelo Makhanya has revealed her next career move following her exit from etv soapie Scandal! where she made a name for herself by portraying Lindiwe.
Earlier this month, Makhanya kissed her on-screen persona Lindiwe good bye after nine years when her character died after giving birth to a daughter.

Fans of the actress wondered what her next career move would be after leaving Scandal!. 
In a question and answer session on Instagram, Nomvelo Makhanya revealed her next career move and unfortunately, fans will not be seeing her on the small screen anytime soon, if her words are anything to go by.

She said that she is not looking to join any soapie and wants to explore other things.

When asked by one of her followers on Instagram if she was going to join another soapie after her exit from Scandal!, Nomvelo Makhanya said:
I’m definitely not looking to be going into any “Soapie”  work anytime soon…I want to explore other things & being on a soapie won’t give me the time to do what I want.
Makhanya however did not rule out that she might join a soapie but will only do it for a maximum period of one year.  The former Scandal! Actress said:
But also, if it’s part of God’s plan for me to be on a soapie, I’d probably stay for 6-12 months max.
While she does not reveal what she is pursuing, she has been spending time in a studio suggesting she may be pursuing a career as a musician.
Apart from being an actress Makhanya also doubles as a brand ambassador. She has business relationships with big conglomerates such as Hullets, Celltone and Pick n Pay.
As far as her acting career is concerned, Nomvelo Makhanya has appeared in Soul City and the Netflix film I Am All Girls.
